About us

Who we are

Welcome to Dunstans Workshop, a family run independent business home-making Jewellery and Orthodox items from the Welsh borders not far from the English town of Shrewsbury.

Our designer-maker Dunstan and the business receive their names from the 10th Century Saint of England Dunstan, the patron of metal-smithing.

ethos

beauty as a way of seeing

At Dunstan's Workshop, beauty is not ornament — it is intention. Every piece we craft is shaped by the conviction that what is truly beautiful points beyond itself, drawing the eye and the heart toward something greater. Rooted in the Orthodox tradition, our work honours centuries of sacred artistry: the deliberate line, the lustrous surface, the form that carries meaning.

We believe that handcrafted jewellery worn close to the body should be worthy of that proximity — made with care, finished with precision, and designed to
endure. This is not decoration. It is devotion made visible.

All our items are blessed in the altar during the Divine Liturgy, by our priest in the local Orthodox Church
